How much CoraroC do I need?
Designing Your Scape with CoraroC
The ideal CoraroC layout depends on several factors and is also a matter of personal taste. Consider how dense you want your scape and whether you’d like to combine CoraroC with live rock or dry rock.
In an existing tank, you can simply add a branch or shelf to enhance your current scape. CoraroC is optimized for minimalistic, “negative” aquascapes, providing plenty of space for fish and corals while allowing excellent water flow around your corals. This is particularly beneficial for Acropora, which thrive and develop more natural growth patterns when flow is optimized.
One of the great advantages of CoraroC is its modularity— it’s easy to add more pieces over time as your reef evolves.
As a general guide for using only CoraroC:
CoraboX 100: Suitable for 50–100 liters (15–25 gallons)
CoraboX 200: Suitable for 100–200 liters (25–50 gallons)
CoraboX 300: Suitable for 200–250 liters (50–65 gallons)
For larger tanks, simply combine multiple boxes to suit your design needs. The system makes it easy to expand and adapt your reef as your aquascape develops.
